Cookie Policy and Similar Technologies

1. What they are

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device in order to work or to measure its use. We also use «local storage» (localStorage), a similar browser technology that keeps preferences on your machine without sending them automatically to a server. In this policy, «cookies» refers to both.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These let the site and your project portal work. They do not require your consent and are not used for advertising or tracking. They are CONIKA's own:

· «conika_s»: keeps you signed in to the portal. A secure cookie (httpOnly), lasting 30 days and renewed while you use it.

· «conika_v»: remembers that this browser has already entered your project, so we do not repeat the security notices. A secure cookie (httpOnly), lasting up to 400 days.

· «conika_td»: only if you turned on two-step verification and marked this device as trusted. It saves you from being asked for the six-digit code every time you sign in from it. A secure cookie (httpOnly), lasting 30 days, and it does not apply if we detect a sign-in from a new country. You can cancel it by clearing the site's cookies or by removing the trusted device from your portal.

· Preferences kept in your browser (local storage): your choice on this cookie notice, your email address while you sign in (erased when you finish), the language, the light or dark theme and the text size you chose, and markers that you have already seen certain screens or that you have a quick sign-in (Face ID or fingerprint) saved on this device. They do not identify you to third parties.

3. Traffic measurement (analytics)

We use Vercel Analytics to count visits and sections in aggregate and anonymously. It uses no cookies, does not identify you and does not track you across sites; that is why it does not require your consent.

4. Advertising (requires your consent)

Only if you tap «Accept» on the notice do we activate the Meta Pixel, which installs Meta cookies (for example «_fbp», and «_fbc» if you arrived from an ad) to tell whether you came from a campaign and to improve our advertising. These are third-party cookies, managed by Meta Platforms, Inc., which may process them on servers outside Colombia (United States). If you decline them, they are not activated.

5. Your control

When you arrive you will see a notice to Accept or Decline. If you decline, the Meta Pixel is not activated and only the anonymous measurement remains; the necessary cookies stay, because without them the portal does not work. You can change your decision at any time by clearing the site's cookies and storage from your browser (the notice will appear again), or manage Meta advertising from your Meta account settings.
