The second project costs less.
Not a favor and not a volume discount. Here is the number, the real reason and the fine print, which is short.
The scale
First project · Full rate
The one in the estimate you already saw, unchanged.
Second project · −10%
Applied on its own, in your proposal.
Third and after · −15%
It stops there. It does not keep dropping.
Every project we have delivered to you counts, design and visualization alike, from USD 1,500 (or its equivalent in pesos). A set of images that size is a project for the scale.
An example, with numbers
A housing phase of twenty houses: two different designs, ten units of each, 120 m² per house. Full package.
- First project: USD 13,120
- Second project: USD 11,808 (what you save: USD 1,312)
- Third and after: USD 11,152 (what you save: USD 1,968)
Worked out with the same engine as the calculator on /empresas, at the moment you open this page; it is not a hand-written example. It uses the international rate: in Colombia and the rest of Latin America the same project costs 5% less.
Why it drops
It does not drop because the second project is easier. It is not: each one is designed from scratch, with its own lot, its own code and its own client, and the work is the same.
It drops because a builder who comes back is worth more to a studio than a one-off commission. Knowing what is coming next term is what lets us keep a team, reserve time and not have to say yes to everything. That certainty has a value, and instead of keeping it we hand it back in the rate.
And it is not a volume discount: it does not drop for hiring several projects at once, but for having worked together before. The price of each one still comes from its scope, like everything else here.
The fine print, in full
Nothing to sign
No framework agreement, no exclusivity, no committed number of projects. You earn it by building.
No need to ask for it
You do not have to ask for it or announce it beforehand. If we have already delivered your previous project when the new one is quoted, the discount is already in the proposal.
What counts is what we deliver
A project adds to the scale once we deliver it, if it reached USD 1,500. One still in progress does not add yet, and a Commitment you withdrew from does not add.
Modeling the existing building is not included
On a remodel, bringing your drawings into the model takes the same work the first time as the fifth, so we charge it in full. Everything else is included.
It expires after two years
If twenty-four months pass with no new projects, the scale starts over. It rewards a living relationship, not a memory.
There is a floor, and it is USD 2.70 per square meter
It is the minimum design value per square meter built, and the discount does not cross it: if the repetition scale has already taken your project down to it, The Alliance goes no lower. This happens on large developments, where repetition alone has already done most of the work. Your proposal states the figure.
How it starts
Like any other project: a forty-minute conversation. The first one is quoted at full rate and none of this needs to be mentioned. The scale shows up on its own on the next one, once the first has been delivered.
