It is the first thing you see when you arrive: two sloping planes that meet at the peak and come down to the ground. The roof does not cover the house. It is the house. That decision orders everything that happens inside.

The ground floor is 119 m² without a wall inside it. The kitchen opens onto the living room, the dining area is right there, and whoever cooks does not miss the conversation. There is no separation because none is needed.

Two bedrooms, and neither shares a bathroom. The one downstairs has two double beds, so the house sleeps four without pulling out a mattress. A staircase leads up to the main one, in the loft, right under the peak of the roof. That leaves a third bathroom for guests: nobody waits their turn in the morning.

The front porch is almost 31 m² and the back one 21, both covered. That is more than 50 m² for being outside without getting wet: the morning coffee, whoever comes to visit, the end of the day.

The upper floor is 42 square metres. One master bedroom. A walk-in closet of almost 5 m², not a passage lined with wardrobes, a whole extra room just for clothes. A private bathroom. Nothing else. No corridors going to waste. No spaces pretending to be something they are not.

The plan is a long rectangle: 15.12 m long by 8.09 m wide. It is slim, and that means from any point the light comes in head on or from the sides. There are no dark rooms.

Every metre is a decision.

161 m² where almost nothing goes to waste. Every bathroom exists because someone is going to use it, and every metre of porch is where people actually stop.

The roof is what decides everything. It rises, meets at the point and comes back down. That is why the house needs no walls dividing it.

This is the opposite of building to look the part. It is building to be lived in. In little space. Without tricks. Without metres nobody uses.
