3D rendering from Colombia · CONIKA
For US architecture firms and agencies: your business hours, a published price and images delivered under your name. We do not contact your client.
CONIKA is a two-person studio in Pasto, Colombia, that produces photorealistic renderings from your 3D model, your drawings or a sketch. This page answers, in order, what a firm asks before sending drawings to another country: time zone, price, your client, remote work, payment and who makes the images.
Do you work my hours?
Yes. Colombia runs on UTC−5 all year and never changes its clocks: in winter it has the same time as New York and Miami, and in summer it is one hour behind.
New York, Miami, Toronto
The same time in winter; one hour apart in summer.
Chicago, Dallas, Mexico City
One hour apart at most.
Los Angeles, San Francisco
Two or three hours, depending on the time of year.
London, Madrid, Amsterdam
Five to seven hours: our morning is your afternoon.
You schedule the call from a calendar that shows every slot in your own time zone. We work in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer: the conversation, the portal, the emails and the contract.
What does it cost?
The image price is published and is the same in every country. The whole order is billed at the rate of the tier its quantity falls into, with a six-image minimum:
- 6 to 11 images: USD 125 each
- 12 to 19 images: USD 112 each
- 20 to 29 images: USD 103 each
- 30 images or more: USD 96 each
Add a one-time scene setup of USD 250 if you bring your own 3D model, or modeling from USD 250, depending on size and building type, if you only have drawings or a sketch.
We quote video and 360 tours per project, depending on its scope and the country where it is located.
For reference, published 2026 price guides put the low end for US studios at 250 to 500 dollars per image.
In the UK this image is called a CGI, in the Netherlands an artist impression and in Spain an infografía 3D: it is the same image, at the same price.
Is my client still mine?
Yes, it is white-label work: we do not contact your end client, the images go out under your name, and we do not ask for credit.
Under your name
Once the full price is paid, the final images carry no CONIKA mark. You hand them to your client as part of your own work.
The license
Broad and with no time limit: you can use, reproduce, publish and distribute the images for any purpose, advertising included, with no further payments, and pass that use on to your client, to whoever markets the project and to the media or listing sites that publish it, for that project only. It is a license, not a transfer: the copyright stays with CONIKA. It takes effect once you pay the full price; until then, the final images show our watermark in your portal.
The design
Whether the project is yours or another architect's, its authorship stays with whoever conceived it: we depict it; we do not claim it. If it is another architect's, all we ask for is its author's authorization to depict it and to show the result without names.
The 360 tour
It is the only piece that carries our seal, “powered by CONIKA”: small, in a corner and linking to our site, also when you embed the tour on your website. It carries it while we host it: one year from The Delivery, included in the price, and after that with a monthly subscription per project. If you do not take it, we hand you the file to host yourself.
Our portfolio
We may show finished work, always anonymously: without your name, your client's or the location. If you object, before or after, we take it off our channels within fifteen business days.
Confidentiality
It is in the contract and survives for two years after the contract ends. If your firm has its own agreement, send it to us and we will review it for signing.
How does it work remotely?
The conversation
Forty-five minutes on video, during your business hours. If you would rather not book a call, email the floor plans to contact@conika.co and we will reply with a written estimate.
What you send
Your model in IFC, RVT, SKP or 3DM, or your drawings in DWG or PDF, with the references and the angles that matter to you. A clear sketch is also enough to start.
The Dossier
The written proposal, before you sign: the deliverables, the price and the business days for each phase.
The contract
You sign it in English or Spanish, from the portal. It is governed by Colombian law, and if the two versions ever differ, the Spanish version prevails.
The previews
We do not count revisions in rounds. Before the final render you see a preview of each image in your portal, and that is where you ask us, at no cost, for a different camera angle, material, light or time of day, or for a minor adjustment within the scene, such as moving a piece of furniture. Three things are new work, and we quote them first for you to accept in writing: changing an image you already approved; adding images or viewpoints; and redoing the modeling or the scene because your drawings or your model changed after work started. We never charge to fix our own errors.
The Delivery
The images in high resolution and, if you order a video, the video horizontal and vertical 9:16, to download from your portal while the project runs and for one year after it closes.
How do I pay from outside Colombia?
By card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express, issued in any country, not a virtual card) through your portal, in two installments: half to start and half on final delivery. We publish the price in US dollars as a reference; the contract fixes it in Colombian pesos, at the exchange rate stated in it, and that peso amount does not change afterwards. Your card's bank converts it to your currency, and any fees from your bank or card network are on your side.
If your firm is in the United States and asks for it, we send you a signed W-8BEN before payment. Under IRS rules, income from services performed entirely outside the United States is foreign-source and generally not subject to US withholding; your tax advisor should confirm it.
If your country or your firm requires you to withhold anything on the payment, tell us before we prepare the proposal, so the price takes it into account. If you do not tell us in time, the price is understood to be net to us, and that withholding is on your side.
Who does the work?
The two of us. Juan José Lima, an industrial designer, leads the visualization; Sofía Solarte, our design lead, is in charge of the design. We do not subcontract the creative work: the person you talk to is the one who produces what you receive.
What we do not do: we do not redesign your project, we depict it; a rendering is illustrative and does not replace construction drawings; and we do not contact your client.
